I've been stabbed twice, had a gun pulled on me once. They say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger - I disagree, it made me angry and wanting revenge.

I've lived on the West Coast, the East Coast, and 15 other States between the two. I've been homeless, one time living in a car up in the Rocky Mountains with two others. I've had handouts from soup kitchens, pan-handled and done various jobs including working in  restaurant kitchens (which was hot!) a roofer in Florida (even hotter!) and dropped out of school to become a Carnie. All these occupations and the crazy people I've met along the way helped shape Spooky.

I've also had may own share of mental issues and thought why not have a hero of a novel inflicted likewise, but still able to function normally - well, normalish.

When not writing I can be found lurking in the background of movies and TV shows as a Support Artist.
